Short Story
Concept: A hunter
tracks a beast through a forest.
Premise: The
audience doesn’t know what the beast is.
Synopsis: The film
opens with the hunter walking through the forest. He then comes across footprints on
the ground, which he bends down to take a look. The hunter begins moving
faster, following the footprints. After a while, he comes across trees with
scratch marks on them. He compares the scratch marks to ones on his left arm.
They are the same. He continues to follow the trail, until it leaves the cave.
He notices rocks crumbling near the entrance. He decides to go in, and as he
does, rocks fall down and block the way out. He proceeds through the cave and
finds the beast. The audience finds out that it is only a small rabbit. The
hunter looks at the rabbit, pauses to build tension, and shoots the rabbit. The
film then ends.
